Thread: Question for Lodz STUDENTS ONLY

***PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO MY POST IF YOU ARE NOT A STUDENT OR HAVE NOT BEEN A PREVIOUS STUDENT AT LODZ***

I'm planning on attending Lodz this fall. I wanted to ask a couple questions.

1) What is the tuition? I believe the website says $10,900/semester. Is this correct?

2) How much stafford are you qualified for? Website says $20,500/year

3) What is the cost of living? How much $$ do you need per year to live comfortably?

4) Racism towards Indians?

5) Do you see clinical prospects in US or UK?

I'll be paying for most of this out of my own hard earned money. I just wanted to make sure that this was financially doable. thanks. No haters please.

1)Yes. it is true...But they dont tell u that once you go through AIM..you pay AIM prices..However, If you are from other countries other than US and Canada, then you pay the university their asking price of around 10,000 euro per year

For the candidates coming from the countries of the rest of the world recruited directly by The Medical University of Lodz payments are as follows;

- MD program (6 and 4 year course) - € 10.000, - per year - DMD program - 5 year course - € 12.000, - per year - Pharmacy program - 5 year course - € 10.000, - per year
This is from the schools actual website....www.umed.lodz.pl....go to division of studies in english language...look for useful information and then look for payments

This means...Im paying double the money to AIM as opposed to other people like the Europeans and Taiwanese who sit next to me paying half the price..of course not including room and board for them which is about $250US for non-North American people


2)Yea thats true but all the money goes to AIM and then its split up between AIM and MUL(Medical university of Lodz)..I dont know how much because thats their financial agreement. So each one gets a different cut of the pie. And dont believe them if they're telling you that they're not making any profit from this and they are doing this for the students.....Its all a BIG FAT LIE

3)Cost of living is the least of your worries....Once you are in after your first year, then they(AIM and MUL) are no longer nice to you because you are trapped...Example: If you are doing any classes and then say u get sick for a few days, they ask you to make it up but on top of that they're going to charge you fees(that god knows how they generated and of which is NOT written in their student handbook) to make up those classes...If you think Im making it up, wait till u get here...Of course AIM and MUL will tell u thats not true...But it is...I was a former student here and I left..I still keep in touch with those of my friends who decided to stay behind

4)Forget racism towards Indians///blacks//asians...The local Polish people are not so bad..I never had any bad experiences with the local population...but its the corrupt offices in Lodz and AIM that will trap you..they're only racism is towards your money

5)There are. But when I started AIM and MUL never told me the truth about state laws for foreign graduates...and Mind u its only 4-5 yrs old...Brand new graduates....Check with ur state for schools that are not approved by the state that u want to work in..AIM and MUL will make all their claims by word of mouth..But I have lived here...the words they speak is like AIR...once they say its gone...I believe I lived the worst of it


I was a student...but I saw so much corruption and money fradulently being distributed that I left...I was so SICK of it...You can either choose to believe me or not...But I gave you the REAL experience I lived through it and I still here my friends telling me all these things even now

Hi i'm planning on applying to Med Uni of Lodz... I live in Canada (but do speek polish). Just had a few questions. Id appreciate if youd answer.

1) How much totally do you pay yearly... living, tuition, books, food ect....

2) where can i get the money from... any scholarships i can apply for, from canada?
