Where do you want to practice in the future and what kind of doctor would you want to be.... that would help us a bit.

Anesthesiology and surgery are highly completitive program to get into.., if you are thinking about Sint Eustatius or even the school you mentioned in Poland, you wil have to have very good grades and also high USMLE... Basically, those two will be hard for IMGs... IM on the other hand, would be easier...

For me, I personally think attending Sint Eustatius would be better because you get to do your clinical years in the USA and it does prepare you for the USMLE.

Thatz just what I think and I would do...

Why limit your school choice to St. Eust and the other school, when there are so many more - especially in the Caribbean? The Big 4 schools have many of their graduates matching in the three specialties that you mentioned.

You can potentially practice in all those states and get into any of the mentioned specialties coming from any medical school; provided you have good to great USMLE scores. What scores you get depends on you, not the school. That being said, read further:

If you like to travel and do something interesting with you life, and you will pay for med school taking out student loans: then you are a FOOL if you go to the Carib school! Flat out! I can't stress this enough. A Polish school is cheaper, will give you a chance to travel all over Europe, and at the end your degree will be from a fully recognized European Union school. (You might not see the importance of this now, but you will in the future.)

If you are an "all american" guy and home sickness will make you hate the world around you because you miss your Chevy and your daily dose of Crispy creams; then I suggest you stick to the carib school so you can be back in the nest after 18 - 20 months in the island.

Really the only thing i am considering is the education and being prepared for the usmle and an MD in the usa.
