Hey everyone,
is there anyone attending the University of Lodz this september, and is there anyone who is in 2nd, 3rd or 4th years who can post any relevant information in this thread as to campus life, how long the school has been around for, anything to expect, what the teaching are like?
Please only Lodz students or anyone who knows about the school. There have been other "LODZ" threads and no one seems to talk about the school, and instead other schools in Poland.
Where does the school rank among other schools? Any information would be greatly appreciated, as I am 95% on my way there next week, but just need a little more reassurance. Thanks a bunch!

Good luck finding any past or present U.S. students in the English Division at this school. Look at their history at Official Cohort Default Rate ,
I'd be surprised their are any past ones. And if their are current ones, and they are happy there, it is a well kept secret.

As for there ratings in the Polish magazines that have been posted several places on this forum Lodz is as good as any of them. However, the ratings refer to the Polish divisions of these schools. I don't think there are English division ratings for any of the Polish medical universities anywhere.

I would not go to any schools in Poland!!!!!!!!! I go to the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland and I have a friend who goes to the school in Lodz; You are much better off looking for a school in the Caribbeans!

I was a student at Lodz, first set of American students there, many have left, the ones that remain are in to deep to leave now. A lot of promises made and broken, raised tution after we arrived, BEWARE of dealing with AIM.

I've been accepted to MUL and will be starting in the Fall of 2007. Are there any Canadian students out there who can give me some insight as to what to expect at Lodz and any other information you think will be useful? I'd greatly appreciate your help.

Also, I've read many postings regarding negative experiences with AIM. Can someone shed more light on this issue....as to what exactly should new students beware of??

I was considering med school in Poland at one time but decided against it. can you tell me why you think it would be so bad?
