wow, $300? that's such a good deal! Too bad there are no direct flights from the Detroit Airport, we have to switch 4 planes!! well the last two are only like 15 to 30 mins but still. My parents and I are going to be there Jan 5th, wanted to come on a weekday so we can take of anything official if need be. Is anyone thinking of buying a car down there? I've seen ppl recommend it, but honestly the island isn't really that big....

Premed textbooks

A little FYI on books....

Premed 1 - get the newest edition of the books. The University Books Online site has the right ones, but they haven't updated to the current editions. Used books are good. You will use the same book for Anatomy/Physiology for both Premed 1 & 2, so laying out a load of cash for that one isn't as bad.

Also, you might want to bring down a box of latex exam gloves. You will probably get the 'opportunity' to get into the gross anatomy lab. A set of scrubs would be good too - you will eventually need them for gross anatomy in med 1 anyway. The gross lab is very clean down here, but the smell will hang around in your clothes, so no reason to expose decent stuff to the smell.
