printer for med1?

Hi, I am looking into buying an ink jet printer that has a copier and scanner included for med1. Its pretty small and compact. Is a scanner and copier necessary? Or should I just invest in a regular ink jet printer?

Thanks

Though an inkjet will do, I can tell you I have a 3-in-1 and it has saved my life a few times in terms of photocopying. Its worth the extra few bucks (really, really not much more money). Just make sure you do the most important thing when looking for a printer... dont look at the price of the printer, but rather the price of the ink cartridges. If you are going to print all your notes (like I do, and alot of other students do), get ready to go through 3-4 black and 3-4 colour cartridges PER SEMESTER! Well... at least thats what I average :-)

Mr. MUA

Ps. Copies in the library are I believe 20 or 25 cents (US) EACH!!!

I'm looking into a 3 in 1 lexmark. It's about $60 and the cartridges (black or color) run for about $20. You can find it at your local Circuit City. Hope this helps.
