    GPA

You should go ahead and apply, but if accepted you need to be ready to buckle down and study harder than you are already doing.

Until you apply you won't know if you will be accepted or not. The admission is not base solely on GPA. Good luck.

    for jan 06 spot

i applied in october for a spot in jan 06 for premed, and i got denied.
    what a bummer~! i couldn't believe it~!
    how competitive they have become~!!
was it because of limited seatings? was it because the seats were all full?
    gosh~ this blows~!!

    hey.

can you pls provide us with some detail in regards to your GPA. this sounds strange because you were trying for Jan06 which i heard is comparitively easier to get into. Did they provide an explanation letter as to why??? Were you right at the mark of 60 credits.

Also, I think it cant be a seating issue because, generally they offer the next semester instead.

    Thanks

I dont think they limit their seats for the premed program.
The Premed program at MUA is very competitive tho. I've seen these guys study just as hard as the med studes do. It should prepare them well for Med1.

    Check and see why....

so if some one has EXACT 60 or between 60-70 credits, there is little or NO chance for them to get into basic science here????

Basic sciences, no. But u are eligible for the Premed program if you have >60credits.
