another silly question

Are all interviews done in person or over the phone? If in person where to you go?
Thanks,

interviews

Hey Kittyhawk,

It varies from school to school but MUA and SABA conduct telephone interviews, whereas some other schools (Ross for instance) interview in person. I'm from Toronto and therfore was invited to interview in either Miami or Detroit, depends on where you're situated.
Anyway the school will contact you (I received notification via e-mail) regarding the time/place and style of interview.

All the best to those with upcoming interviews...

Hey buds,

I had the interview today. I think it went pretty well. It was just like everyone here said it wouldd be. They seem like quite decent people. Anyway, thanks to all that posted their experiences in the past. My interview was no different than what others have posted. The interviewers put you at ease from the start.

interviewww

i decided to add to this thread started 3 yrs ago with.... they want to interview me! i am So excited... i've also applied to AUA but i reallly want to go here.....

whats the best time to set up the phone interview?? morning or late afternoon? i know thats a silly question but i want everything to go smoothly and i want to make sure the interviewers are in good moods

also... whats the best way to address the fact that i dont have much experience in medicine? the only thing i've done is volunteered at blood drives and shadowed a family practitioner..... ??? the jobs i've had are all pharmacy tech jobs basically. anyways, any help would be great.. maybe these questions were answered before but 30 some pages on this thread is a lot to go through! thanks in advance!

your volunteering at blood drives, shadowing a family practitioner and working in a pharmacy are actually pretty good exposure to the medical world compared to other people.
