huskies
Well it's good to see another UW fan out there.. lol, they're not exactly doing too well this year, so lets keep the husky football talk to a minimum.
What year did you graduate from UW microphage? How far along are you at MUA? |

Questions about phone interview
Hi all:
I have been reading the value md website for a while and have been trying to research some of the schools that I have applied to and will be applying to in the near future. I have a phone interview on Thurs with MUA and I am curious as to what others have experienced for phone interviews. I usually interview well, but I am unsure of the phone format. Are the questions similiar to "typical" med school interviews? I have tried to go back as far as I can and can not find any answers to these questions....all the threads that have links in them for answers I have tried and the links come up with webpage not found. Any answers would be greatly appreciated Thanks

The phone interview is really an informal process. I was simply asked some standard 'med school' interview questions, such as "Why do you want to become a doctor?", and "Why do you think you'd be an asset to the school?". Besides these questions, the majority of the interview deals with the question of whether or not you will be able to live on the island, as well as if you can afford the cost of going to medical scool. I think the total time of my interview was about 15 minutes, and since I was in an urgent situation, they even told me over the phone that they were comfortable in admitting me to the school. So my advice is, don't sweat it too much, just enjoy the process.

I am going to apply to MUA this week after I get paid... I am wondering does MUA interview everyone or just the people they are interested in like US schools? Also, What is the average MCAT since they don't require it?
