Been looking at different forums and it appears they have at least an investor and a restructuring. A person from SABA verified this with me indicating the dean came into their classroom on campus and told them so last week. When you check the SMU website it makes no mention of it - but it is announced on the Equinox website.

SMU was restructured in Jan 07 and apparently MUA-N and Saba followed with Equinox this month. Someone from Saba said that the offices of SMU in Florida would probably be moved to Gardner.

From what I understand it is a restructuring and Dr. F is still the president.

I don't think MUA-B was involved at all. MUA-B has NO AFFILIATION WITH MUA-N.

Hi, I read the info posted about MUA-N and SABA. I have one question though, if they are for the same owner which I believe they are because they use the same application style, does one have to apply for both or can they both see the same application? I ask because one student said that SABA had fowarded her application to Nevis because they did not have enought space. If any of you guys know please let me know because I was thinking of applying to both. thanks for the help!

You have to complete a new application for MUA-N. Although Saba does forward applications, MUA requires you complete a new application with their letterhead on the application; this also includes reference letters.

I suggest you apply to both if you are considering both. the advantage is that you application to MUA will not be delayed and the only draw back is that you have to spend an extra application fee if you are accepted to both.
