RE: Police clearance letter

Dear All,

Thought I'd just post this information if someone is looking for an answer. I sent in my fingerprint to get the criminal background investigation and my state offers two kinds of clearance
1. State and FBI (full background)
2. State only.

I talked to the administration today and they said we only need the "state only" clearance.

Hope this informaton helps.

Also, Dr. T, Thanks for welcoming us, we look forward to working hard and learning to be good physicians. From what I have seen over the past several weeks on this forum, I have no doubt that I made the right choice!

RE: Application

It all depends on when they got the application and how soon the admissions committee would get to reviewing your application.

Ofcourse I am not from the admissions comittee, but mine took about 1-2 weeks to get an email for an interview, so the best place to ask would be to call the gardner MA office. They are all very helpful and will answer ANY question that you may have.

Hope this helps.

Congrats!

Congratulations to all of the students arriving this May and September! You are in for one heck of a journey. My advice is to take advantage of everything this school has to offer. Get to know your professors, they are incredibly hands on. There are challenges with living on a small island, but you would be surprised how advanced things are at the same time on campus. Feel free to ask me any questions that I may be able to help with. Good luck to you all!
