Thread: Pharm course

To all the current students,

I have heard that the pharm course may possibly be the most difficult course to pass at MUA. Is there any truth to this? Also, how deep does this course go into pharmacology? I mean is it just drug classes, brand/trade names, side effects, etc. or things like pharmacokinetics also included? Just curious since I 'll be attending MUA this year. Lastly, do most students pass this course or does it have a high failure rate, if so what would you say is/was the passing or failure rate for the class you took? Thanks, I'll take your responses off the air.

We learn everything except chemical structures and the brand names are shown but we don't need to know them for exams, just have to know generics. Class is hard but there will be a new professor teaching pharm by the time you start.
