Residency Interview, Match '06-'07
All the best for those going through the rituals of residency interviews! Remember that there were many before you that made it. So go in there confident knowing that at this point of your career you have what it takes. Dont let ANYONE fool you or discourage your dreams....keep your head up and your goals of practicing medicine will be in sight.

Urology/Urologic Surgery
Hey;
a very good friend of mine just matched Urology. It is an early match so he found out about 3 weeks ago. He had good boards and worked hard. I guess he was the only FMG who matched!! getting into surgical subspecialties (urology, ENT, Optho, Neuros., Ortho) to my knowledge is very difficult but i guess it is possible! best of luck to all of us.

Residency 2007
Hey everyone just wanted to let ya all know that I have gotten interviews at the University of Toronto and University of Manitoba for residency in Pathology. I loved both but my #1 is for UT. I pray March 14th matches me to one of them. UT had 170 applications for IMGs and only interviewed 23. They accept 6. This is the first year that IMGs can go in the 1st round of the Canadian match. Wish me luck and pray for me on March 14!!!
Has anyone got pre-match offers, matches in the SF match, etc. Love to know. Robin

wow, interviews at UT and UM in path...that is strong work. good luck, i'm sure you will do fine. btw, did you participate in the US match as well, or just CARMS?
