Potworks is about a 5 minute walk (or less) from campus. Rawlands is about a 10 minute drive from campus(not walkable; well I suppose you could walk it but you may get run over one day trying to do so).

I'm in potworks now (1st term student) and I asked if there was the option to stay in my room and I was told that wasn't possible. My understanding that that there are units that students can stay for longer than first term but I haven't figured out how that works out yet.

Rawlins dorm is about a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk. Not Practical to walk for most people, too far, sweating carrying book bags, etc.

There will often be students driving by who will pick you up though if you're willing to try that.

are we required to live in dorms in our first semester? they keep telling us it is mandatory, but really we dont sign anything or pay them for the dorm till we get there, so i was wondering what is a good way to go: stay in dorms or rent a house?
thanks!

All the best.

True

I'VE NEVER ACTUALLY WALKED IT. THAT WAS A GUESS-TIMATE

30- 40 minutes does make more sense, forgot having to walk down that long hill.

Ps. Dont' call me "buddy".

FOTL, it wasn't meant on the negative side. I apologize if it was not cool with you.

Just a quick question......Who desides who resides in Rawlings or Potworks? And what do they base their decision on?
