I'm assuming that wont be the case in med school? If a printer is essential, would you recommend a colour laser printer? Comes out cheaper per page in the long run
B/w should be fine. There are alof of color slides in histo BUT thats mostly for understanding.Dont waste money on the color printer...
btw,are u shipping something?

Having a color laser printer would be the best to have. I thought about bringing one down but I found that the color lasers I checked out were huge and extremely heavy compared to monochrome lasers or ink jet printers. I ended up bringing down a monochrome laser and 95% of the time I’m happy with it. It is the odd slides that have color would be advantageous. In place of the extra weight of a color laser I would bring an extra toner cartridge (in case you end up printing a lot) and paper.

The cheapest blank paper I found here is 18EC or $7US for 500 sheets.

Printers

just a heads up for those bringing a printer be sure to bring lots of ink no joke! I brought an HP printer and ran out, and although my family sent me some in nevis they only have ink for cannon printers. So basically if you have a cannon and run out your okay you can get it here.
