I don't think that the school requires specific color scrubs since they are not mandatory in the first place.
As far as for clinicals, most, if not all Medical centers provide Hospital scrubs for employees and Students specially in Surgery and OBG.
However, students that are currently in their clinical rotations can provide more information.

Any color scrubs are fine, some people prefer lab coats because you won't have to change and you can just shove it in your histo locker when your done for the day.

Do most people wear labcoats or scrubs on campus? I already have a couple of lab coats, so I was wondering if its worth it to buy scrubs?

Is there a specific length of coat? I prefer the longer ones because it covers more, less mess on the clothes.

I got a long coat for my self for the same reasons. I don't think a specific lenght of coat would really matter. Just get what ever makes you confortable.

    Scrubs & Lab Coats

Scrubs, any scrubs, will do just fine for med 1 anatomy lab... bring a few sets, since you'll be in lab most days so you'll need to always have a fresh set of scrubs. That smell gets in your scrubs REAL fast

Also: lab coats: short lab coats are what you need, and only for fourth semester. I wouldnt advise buying it so soon, see what the rest of your class is doing by the time you get to 4th sem PD class.

Also for anatomy lab: I remember that it was always helpful to have at least one grants dissector guide (its a book) per group, since it helps out with dissection techniques and such, esp. when you're first starting out. However, not everybody needs one

    Enjoy
