Thread: Orientation

Hey guys,

How was the first day back? Hope everyone had a really nice break and are ready to get back to the swing of things.

As for our new comers "WELCOME", I'm looking forward to seeing all the new faces!

It was a very good orientation.

Some serious, some informative and some fun information and stories. I for one enjoyed our speakers and the information given to us.

Since it covered almost everything, I am left to just get around and see where everything is. This is a beautiful country and as they said, we need to get out and see some of the rest of it too before we graduate. Isn't that positive thinking?

Some of the upper classmen met with us to encourage us, offer their help at any time and gave suggestions for succeeding here. Thanks to all!

That's awesome ! Enjoy every day as you will soon realize how fast it goes and it's time to move on. Remember why you are there: don't loose focus and don't let other people's negativity drag you down or have an effect on you. Study hard every day and find a balance between work and play: whether it means going to the beach one day a week, joining a gym or flying to the mainland for a weekend once a month to see th rest of the country. You will soon find out how safe the island is, how nice the local people are, how helpful and wonderful the faculty, staff and administration are.
I want to fish the first semesters all the best in the future!
