I am a 4th semester student, and very much like Belize and the school.

The class size is small, and we have excellent professors; Yes it's a young school, but that is what is wonderful about it... let me ask YOU to think about this.. would you rather go to a school that is established and that you have no personal attention. OR would you like to go to a school that is young, with excellent professors, small class size and will stay small; have open door policy for their students, get personal attention if needed.. and be able to help build the school in the image that you desire a medical school should be.... That's MUA at Belize, Ambergris Caye! Plus, there is so much to do here in Belize when not studying... the mainland is 15 minutes away by flight, hour and 15-45 minutes by boat.. there is zoo, casino, Old belize,... And/or you can go to Cayo district by shuttle or local or express bus, and do tours to the Mayan ruins, overnight canoe trips. treks to caves; there's also rainforests to see... or snorkeling or diving... can get diving certificates cheaper here than the states.. they are well-qualified diving instructors.. there are clubs for nightlife, and great restaurants... In June/July, there will be a lobsterfest; there are quite a few holidays here in Belize, and some of them are quite fun.... one can never bored here...

Education... we can't forget why we are here... Belize has everything.. DSL or cable or the regular telephone; some places have satellite; The school remains in construction, but the classrooms are complete, the library is done, and there are two labs, and a deli where a quick lunch or that caffiene can get you going... all of the teachers have open door policy; are there to help you to do well not only in the classrooms but for the USMLE; I am happy with the decision that I made to come here... And I was able to.. I would download the latest newsletter to the site, but I am not able.. there are too many pics to download; This is the school for you:
