I do not know how MUA-Belize can call themself an academic institution when they do not provide internet for students and faculty. The administration has internet in the ofice but we do not. Faculty does not have access to it either. I realize that this is a Caribbean school and a buisness but you have to give a serive which is not being provided to us. The internet situation is just something that needs to be fixed but nothing is being done about it. We students are forced to go pay for internet at cafes. It adds up. The part that is the worst is that a new system has been proposed that will cost alot up front but will save money in the long run because they can make phone calls with the new system which would drastically reduce their phone bill. They have a bad, inefficient business model here. I would reccomend you do not come here until they have fixed this internet problem. I would leave but only have one more sememster so it is not worth it for me. But if I wwere you, make sure everything is ok until you come here.
