Anyone know if MUA B still exists and if there are students on Ambergeris Caye? This forum has been dead for a few months so perhaps there were no students for May?

The school building is sold - or foreclosed on and it is shut down. Still listed in Who- IMED. Most of the former students - transfered to Xavier according to what I heard. Many had to start over as that there is no business office and their school records are lost.

depends on how you define "open". from what i have heard, there are tiny amount of students left in ambergris caye who apparently are holed up and sheltered in some rental property. on the flipside there are still matter of fact half a dozen students left in clinicals in the united states and one doing rotations in Ireland/Scotland thereabouts. MuaBelize is still accredited and listed and even in 2008 resident programs have been accepting with open arms mua belize graduates. Valuemd is at best a tainted source for the truth. i suggest asking to speak over the phone with actual students and actual staff.
