According to Dr. S******d, although the school campus is closed, there are three students that are being taught their two year basic science program, at an undisclosed location in San Pedro, and all other students are presently in rotation in various USA hospitals.

i like this quote....

...“A building does not constitute a school. School is the academics, the campus is just a building." per Dr. j.s.

Well, I am getting a charter from a government and put out 6 or 7 tents near a beach and run a school from them as long as I have some nice intsructors. We can change locations on a weekly basis.

Give me a break!

equivalency

Hmmmm...are tents equivalent to lean to buildings or stucco buildings? some students would argue that they might be better than the buildings they are currently in. It doesn't cost $50 million to open a school in the Carib. compared to the US model,eh?

Military tents, I will get them at a local military surplus store. Cheaper than Walmart.

staff

You could staff it with free professors from Cuba...recently minted 5 year MD degrees after high school.

Great Idea! You can never go wrong with free or cheap labor, maximizes profits, I hope PL isn't reading this.

Let's Be Realistic

MUA-B lost loans at least two year ago so that loss is hardly to blame for the sorry state of the school. The private loan crunch is now affecting US students-undergrad, med students etc. It will be interesting if 40 paying bodies can be found to come back in Sept. by the "new management" whoever that might be. Why is the President (hopefully former president) posting if new people are onboard? Ambergeris Caye is an exceptional place so it would be a great idea if trustworthy new management could resurrect MUA-B. Show yourselves-give those poor souls out there who cannot get transcripts some hope, please. Yossarrian

From the San Pedro Sun article... "According to Dr. S*****d, although the school campus is closed, there are three students that are being taught their two year basic science program, at an undisclosed location in San Pedro"

Now that's a reputable school. Has classes at "an undisclosed location" according to its "president". Makes it hard for prospective students to come check it out now doesn't it.
