international student in US.....help will be really appreciated

I am an Indian citizen currently doing my bachelors in Biology in the US. I want to get into a medical school here but its very competitive, so I am deciding to go to a caribbean medical school. But the problem I am facing is that if I leave US, will be be able to get into US again for my rotations (will I be able to get a F1 again for clinical rotations)???
Any information about how visa thing works or anybody in similar situation who can help ??

First, go only to a reputable school in the Caribbean-Ross, AUC, MUA Nevis, SGU, or Saba-not this one for sure. There are visas for students who need to do clinicals. I've had friends that were able to go to Ross, AUC or Saba and got some sort of study visa. If at all possible, you should try and get a green card-that will solve all your problems. Yossarrian

I am sure mua belize will bend over backwards to accommodate you and your specific situation. plenty of international students have passed through the mua belize basic science program (well i can only account for the time i spent on the island) and i kept in touch with some and never has their been a problem presented with immigration issues. i no longer attend mua belize, however i do know people who went the whole nine yards and now are in different resident spots in the U.S.A. one of them is of canadian national and the other is a permanent resident of the united states. but whilst in rotation i come across plenty of international students from the caribbean schools. so mua belize can work out for you. it is recognised in the united states and mua belize students can take usmle's (i did take step 1 prior to leaving for personal reasons) and likewise contact the school and ask they provide you with residency information. san pedro is also the pinnacle of the belizean lifestyle. no where else in belize can compare.

NO buildings owned (rented rooms only), NO medical center or hospital, NO University affiliation, NO undergraduate programs, NO Masters programs, NO medical research, NO ACGME (Green book) approved clinical rotations, NO federal loan programs (either Belize or American), NO DOE approval, NO State approvals, NO CT, Doppler or any other medical technology, NO campus/ infrastructure etc...And all this despite the fact that they have been in existence since 2001!

Now that you know the above, would you say they have a medical school? I would say they have NO "Medical School" either!

Everything else "Avoidthenoid", or anyone else tells you on this forum in support of this entity are lies, deceptions and deliberate misinformation, all in order to get money from your bank account into theirs!

Want a medical education in this area? Better to go to Ross, St. Georges, AUA, AUC, SABA, MUA NEVIS or St. Matthews: Each one has some sort of outside body approval and each one has made an investment in their school to some degree. Talk to students, visit the campus' then make a wise decision only after reviewing the pro's and the con's.

Learn from others' mistakes - stay far away from MUA Belize!!!

Do well (3.0) in undergrad and go to a Group of 7 school...as mentioned.. with US state approval.

If you read through the MUA-belize forum it is VERY apparent who is posting this blather. Moderaters should check to see if this individual has multiple accounts.

All students should stay away from this school it's a rip off and a scam.

Thanks a lot for your response guys. I have a 3.97 overall GPA and a 30 on the MCAT (7V, 11P, 12B). I applied to US med schools but due to my international status I haven't got even 1 interview. So, now since its pretty late in the cycle already, I decided to go to either SGU, Ross, SABA, etc. Does anybody have any information about international loans? Do the medical schools help out with the loans. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
