So, Where is the New Campus???

There are claims by some on this forum that B.S. classes are being held in Belize. So, where??? We all seem to agree that MUA-B was evicted from the original building which is now up for sale? Naming the actual place of instruction on the Caye would lend credibility to SaveDafur's posts.

brother! please tell me why are your posts about mua b so vindictive? so negative? with such zeal?. even if there is just one good story coming out of mua belize, you will NEVER acknowledge it just constantly fear mongering and thrashing, yet you keep quiet about your current school. I HIGHLY doubt it was a "step up", maybe a lateral move or so. is your new institution perfect? you must admit, in some circles it's quite laughable. only if you came out with your real school, you would lend credit. or instead of being biased or skewed you can give a more balanced view or approach.yes i am also very interesting in learning more about the schools new temporary digs, please call and ask and do share what you learn. of course i have no beef with you, i don't even know you. but i do get jaded with the blanket wide thrashing because you are aware also, there's a lot of students who finished the entire program. please don't take everybody else down for whatever issues you may have with the school. don't paint everyone with a broad paint brush, some of us graduated during the good times back in 2002-2003 etc. IT'S NOT OUR FAULT. LET US LIVE. PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE NOT HELPING. RUMOR IS SOME PEOPLE WERE DISMISSED FOR NEFARIOUS ACTIVITIES AT CAMPUS. MAYBE YOU ARE ONE OF THEM, MAYBE YOU ARE NOT. it just sounds like you have an agenda, by scaring everyone especially the innocent students who were ignorant of what was going on with the schools turbulent history or what's in store in the future. i'm sure you don't want to destroy every one's lives and aspirations? please be more specific and don't attack everyone or generalize everyone had the same experience that you appeared to have. just food for thought.

Come on, SaveDarfur. Are you trying to blame students for the school mismanagement that led to the loss of its campus? I think it is the fault of the Dean and the administration to manage those things that make a school run properly. You say the school has been there for 7 years so can your school show a list of graduates in residency atleast? Schools that are running for 7 years usually expand and offer better opportunities for the students. How many clinical sites are available? are they green book? How many professors are there at Basic Sciences? How many students? Where is the website for the school? The school seems to be in serious financial difficulties and any perspective student should get these questions answered before deciding to attend such a school. Just my opinion.

yes the school should have a website, yes fact is there are residents from mua b. some of them feel it's a matter of privacy they do not want to get sucked into all this drama. but by all means, i would highly suggest people call the office and demand the name of at least the hospitals. OF COURSE I WOULD WANT TO ASSUME CERTAIN "MUA B BASHER" ARE AWARE OR HAVE DONE SO" but that would never serve there cause of what appears to be retribution or some sort of retaliation. even if you did not enjoy your experience at mua belize. if you had PASSED the semesters or semester, you can easily transfer into a "medicore" or average program or a better program depending on scores. obviously people have or did, but yet they keep coming back and attacking. not all of us had or have that privilege of transfering. some of us were'nt affected by all the drama and turmoil. others have moved on to advanced places such as step 2's and interviews and can't turn back the clock. but they for some reason don't have a solid footing on this forum. because when they try, IT'S AN ATTACK on them right away.other's probably are'nt aware because valuemd is relatively speaking "new" did not exist in 2003, 2004 etc. IF YOU CALL THE SCHOOL, THEY NEVER VIEW IT AS LOSS OF CAMPUS, THEY REFER TO THE SITUATION AS "TEMPORARY"..NO ONE HERE IS A SCHOOL REP OR CAN CLAIM OTHERWISE, just maybe they will be back in the building soon? maybe not? but the agenda pushers make it sound like everything is the BE ALL AND END ALL, like there's something "new" here, like there' aren't other schools struggleing or in the same boat. I BET HALF OF PEOPLE HERE TRANSFERED INTO A SCHOOL WITH THE SAME B.S. PROBLEMS YET THEY KEEP THAT BURIED TO PROTECT THEIR FUTURES, WHILE THEY WONT WASTE ANYTIME TAKING ALL OF US, WHO BUSTED ARE BEHINDS TO THE GULIATINE, sorry about the typo's.

Honest Question, Please Anser

Save Dafur,

I asked an honest question-instead of a tirade so remniscent of the female "Dean" of MUA-B simply answer the question. If there are classes, where are they being held? An address please. No one should be fearful of telling the truth. Yossarrian

So you are finally admitting that the campus on the island is closed. If you are so concerned about the future of students that were not able to transfer then you will not try to promote this school to prospective students. Do you want to see more students getting stuck with a school that won't even issue transcripts or refunds to students? Students that are still at the school for whatever reason should understand the problems many who completed their Basic Sciences or part of it but are unable to get their transcripts or in some cases refund for tuition paid for the following semesters. You expect these students to keep quiet so that the 2 or 3 students that are still with the school for whatever reason? Those students spent as much as $100,000 or more for their education and have nothing to show for it. Not even a transcript. I feel sorry for them and support them.

ummmm. claudia555 and others, if you read the posts. TRANSCRIPTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE BY CALLING THE U.S. OFFICE. and try not to trivialize or denegrate us who for whatever reason needed to or chose to graduate with mua b. by saying "2 to 3" students, when there's more like 200-300 students have passed through mua belize doors and finished in the past 7 years. WHERE DO YOU GO TO SCHOOL? ST.GEORGE'S? (I highly doubt it)

If you read my post carefully SaveDarfur, I said 2 or 3 students still remaining at the school at this present time. It is upto you if you or other students (if any left) want to stay with the school but for you to try to trap innocent students by PMing them false information is pathetic and wrong.

what FALSE info pm are you refering to? please elaborate. also go ahead and please call the school's u.s. office and have them verify these statements which are 100% true: MUA BELIZE STUDENTS HAVE BEEN OFFERED RESIDENT PROGRAMS IN U.S. INCLUDING TEXAS mua belize has had already 3 graduations and one more in months' time. mua belize has DIRECT relationships with new hospital sites such as arrowhead hospital in massachusets. (also use agency's by the way) mua belize has had dozens of students who've cleared usmle's exams, some have transfered, some have stayed. i invited you to call and ask them to back this up or confirm or deny these comments. i already know what the answers are. but you wouldn't believe me, so i invite you to do it. the phone numbers have been posted earlier. by all means. please do.

Let's see... you, as a recruiter, claimed 300 students had passed thru your school in 7 years. Yet, how many in residency? How many have fully unrestricted license? Zero?

Also, why would you, as a student in clinical rotations away from Belize, claim to have so much inside info on the school?

What are you really? Billybill reincarnate?
