think outside the box for once
how the heck can mua belize have full unrestricted licensed graduates? it's only been around 7 years you @#$^%. i ca'nt believe you can stoop so low and hold that against them. that is a VERY ASININE comment to make or more or less stupid logic to use against mua belize.YES 200-300 STUDENTS! mua belize at one time was a SISTER SCHOOL to SABA and Nevis. I get my info by calling the U.S. office and then verifying it through my contacts and circle of mua friends, and then finally on a on and off bases chatting with my "friend"
in san pedro. |

Still Avoiding the Question
Hey SaveDafur, please, please answer the question since you are such an expert on MUA-B and so initmately know the history. Where are basic science classes being held and how many students are enrolled in each semester.? How hard is it to answer this simple request? BTW I did a search on past posts which say that at its peak, before Saba dumped MUA-B, there were no more than 70 students ont he Caye-certainly never 200-300. Yossarrian

200-300 meaning total. not at any given time. that number is combined for 7 years. again this is something i am throwing out there, from my 5 semesters spent in san pedro, plus the 2 semesters prior when my cousin was there, etc. also i DO NOT KNOW WHERE classes are being held. please call the u.s. office and ask, i did not bother because i am not in basic sciences anymore, and it has minimal immediate impact on me. whats the "big deal?" off shore schools move building to building all the time, especially 2nd and 3rd tier schools. i know the "history" because i spent 20 months on san pedro and several months making rounds with fellow students. vs. someone who might have spent 2 weeks there, or maybe knew someonthere etc.

do you have an axe to grind?
you seemed to be full of aggression yossarian, it appears you have some kind of personal agenda. MUA BELIZE WAS NEVER "DUMPED" BY SABA, i take offence to that word. i heard it was constant bickering and going back and fourth between nevis and belize, to the point where nobody was being a teamplayer or pulling their own weight. it was more of a heavy handed approach from nevis, minimal from saba, but because the two are intertwined the relationship was severed at some point. i was ticked off big time. nobody really came out and told the students. NOT EVEN NEVIS OR SABA ADMINSTRATORS.

After reading "SaveDarfur" posts, with their peculiar wording and use of capital letters - I think it is reasonably fair to say this is infact "BillyBill" better known as the couple from North Dakota who own MUA Belize (Mr. and Mrs. J & R Ser***nd) - the only medical school that I know of which is owned and run - by a couple who call themselves doctors, but have never passed the USMLE's and have never been licensed, let alone been accepted into a residency program.
Remember: MUA Belize has NO licensed graduates, NO buildings owned, NO medical center or hospital, NO University affiliation, NO undergraduate programs, NO Masters programs, NO medical research, NO ACGME (Green book) clinical rotations, NO loan programs, NO DOE approval, NO State approvals, NO CT, Doppler or any other medical technology, NO infrastructure etc...All of this Equals = NO Medical School! Stay away from this bogus "school." Last edited by Anthony Thomasson : 11-16-2007 at 10:06 AM. |

Still not answering my question
Hey SaveDafur, you are able to provide such a detailed history of MUA-B. Now, you omitted that the owners were first forcefully removed from SMU-that fact is well documented in the San Pedro Sun. I talked to a fellow who was in some sort of MD-Ph.D program who confirmed that there indeed was then split with Nevis and Saba and that thereafter faculty and students dropped out rapidly. So, shall we keep dredging up old facts or will you lend some legitimacy to this discussion by providing such simple information like the location, address and phone number of the basic science campus on the Caye??? Yossarrian

do you not have a phone?
why cannot you sir, call the school's office and demand to know the location. do not even i.d. yourself. just pretend you are a prospect. the heck i know where this new campus is. somebody phone the office and post the information. yes one of you evil attackers who are inconsiderate of those who attended mua belize under the guise of being saba's protege. yes destroy their lives too.

You don't know where the "new campus" is in San Pedro (one street)? Gosh, that's strange as you seem to know everything else about the school! It's failed history with SMU then later SABA, who on this forum might have"flunked out", it's clinical situation, it's lawsuits and on and on. C'mon, you just look plain silly at this point. Fess up. you'll feel better afterwards.
Remember: MUA Belize has NO licensed graduates in America, NO licensed graduates in Belize AND, NO licensed graduates in any other country! NO buildings owned (rented rooms only), NO medical center or hospital, NO University affiliation, NO undergraduate programs, NO Masters programs, NO medical research, NO ACGME (Green book) approved clinical rotations, NO federal loan programs (either Belize or American), NO DOE approval, NO State approvals, NO CT, Doppler or any other medical technology, NO campus/ infrastructure etc...And all this despite the fact that they have been in existence since 2001! Obviously they have NO "Medical School" either! This couldn't be any more clear. Last edited by Anthony Thomasson : 11-16-2007 at 10:07 AM. |
