Thread: why??? if you bought it out??? same name??

If mua belize bought out st chris why would they keep the same name of st chris in the u.k????

it seems odd and you students should point that out to your admin that you would want your campus in the u.k to retain a name with so much p.r. damage

it would be wise to call it mua-uk your satellite campus -such as schools throughout the usa with satellite campus in rome and other places

just my thought i don't know much about your school so i will not bash student nor a school -- for you all are working hard to get your md

but just my opininon you worked so hard at your campus (again not promoting you guys or dissing) why let your admin bring you down and hurt your futures with keeping the name st chris

i honestly suggest that you get them to call it mua-uk so there is no confusion and your futures are not in trouble

Actually, I am delighted to see that our schools administration has exercised prudence regarding this matter. The fact is, St.Christopher's College/Luton Campus has always been a satelite campus of the university. Moreover, many universities here in the US are comprised of several colleges. For example, I completed my undergraduate studies at C.W.Post College in NY,which is a college campus of Long Island University.
My undergraduate degree reads Long Island University,not C.W. Post College.

hey i don't want to burst your well researched comment (notice the sarcasm) but st chris has not always belonged to MUA belize but it belonged to senegal see the charter on imed, ecfmg etc.

press release bu your school that you recently purchased this school

so what is the prudence now on your school's part

the part that they choose to hold on to a name that belonged to a school that lost its affiliation from its host country --- then got bought out by you guys

host of negative press against this name

so how is this prudent towards your student body

i agree that so many schools have satellites more power to you guys

in no way have i ever condemed your school or your program

flat out i can't as i no squat about it nor choose to

out of concern for you guys --- cause medicine has been something i worked hard for and would not want to see it stripped away over a negative stigma of a name

so all i suggested is call it mua- uk
