Thread: Expert greenbook question

I can't think of many people who'd be able to answer this question, but I thought I'd just put it out there:

Hospital X is an affiliate of a major teaching hospital, but according to the description by ACGME, no actual months of rotation are assigned to that hospital:

Hospital X - Other Participating Institution
Year 1 Months of Rotation:
Year 2 Months of Rotation:
Year 3 Months of Rotation:
Year 4 Months of Rotation:

Is this a valid affiliation?

If there are no rotating residents in that hospital it isn't technically a greenbook rotation.The hospital could be affiliated with a major teaching hospital in a number of ways but what you should be concerned with is whether residents spend any months rotating there.That is if you care about satisfying this green vs blue rotation issue which may ultimately be overrated.
