    Question Examcrackers help

    Hello,

I am preparing for the April, 2008 MCAT using Examcrackers 6th edition study books. Can anyone comment on the accuracy of the practice tests included with these study books? My scores on the 30 min back-of-the-book exams vary greatly. For example, My scores have been as high as 12+ in the Bio book, but I recently got a 4 on one test (ch4) in the Physics book! Can anyone relate, or tell me how the practice scores are likely to compare to the real thing? I know EK tells you they are not accurate, and they use the questions more for teaching than for testing; but I want to know if this is any cause for alarm.

Please note, I haven't yet taken my pre-med courses (those begin this Fall). Also, I am currently only using the review books. I don't have the audio osmosis cds or the 1001 questions books. Would you recommend these or any other study guides? Thank you all very much for your help.

If you had posted in the premed forum - I could have answered this. Simple answer - Yes. After taking the MCAT what did you find?

I call it like I see it. I am not paid by ValueMD or any school. Nor do I recruit for any school.

Well, I won't actually take it until April, 2008, so I'm still studying right now. Basically, I want to make sure I prepare as well as I can. If you have any help relating to the examcrackers questions I posted above, I would very much appreciate it. I will also take your advice and post this question in the premed forum. Thanks again.
