University is a public institution that was founded in 1998. The establishment of this university marked the beginning of Mongolian modern history of medical science. Over the years, University has grown into a multidisciplinary institution compromising 5 schools and 13 departments and 5 administration units, with well balanced programs in the medicine, pediatric, dentistry, traditional medicine, and nursing.


The school offers undergraduate (Bachelor’s training), graduate (Master’s training), and postgraduate (residency training) programs.

University has 3 main buildings and 1 student residency hall. Located in the first main building are the Administration offices, library and GE classrooms. The 2nd main building also has more GE classrooms, nursing facilities & computer labs, the 3rd building has a medical laboratory, dental clinic and base classrooms for dentistry students. Our Residency hall, can occupy up to 200
students. Student housing serves as a gateway to a great success for our undergraduate and graduate students as they enter University and advance through their educational careers.
