MDS in ukraine in orthodontics is a 3 year speciality course available in Ukrainian Medical stomatological academy Poltava . the course as per the latest fee structure will cost you 4200$ per annum fee +1000$ accomodation +2000$(the degree confirmation for the graduate degree taken outside ukraine and ministry permission * to be paid only once) +600$ is the temporary resident permit , immigration , document legalisation and all the hidden costs that the university reveals after the student comes here . so in short first year cost 7800$ next year 4200$ plus accomodation * choice of apartment .

Thanks mr.nurat.I've heard orthodontics is called orthopaedic dentistry there.Is it true?Will this cause any problem,as i want to persue my furthur practice in india.Can i get a job here in india as faculty member in dental colleges?And which is best n most cost effective,ukraine,russia or romania?

hello . Russia is a strict no am speaking from my experience with the russian mentality of doctors for PG students . Ukraine too i am only suggesting UMSA since i know doctors doing their PG there in Oral and maxillofacial surgery and prosthodontics and they were very happy since the departments were very co-operative . secondly Romania doesnt offer in english and even if it does its much more expensive and on top of it even being in EU its no use being there besides romania visa for indians is always a problem . about being teaching faculty you have to check with DCI or IDA i am not sure because for medical PG trainees outside india they dont allow as teaching faculty .

Ok.But can u explain in detail,abou what 'mentality' u're talkin abt?Also pls answer my question abt name of branches,i.e orthodontics as orthopaedic dentistry.

Actually as far as dentistry is concerned,i know abt sme dentists,who had done mds from russia(tver),n serving as faculty member in india.DCI allows them after passing the screening exam.
