Medicine is SA is a good way to come back to the UK.

Hi, i noticed before that if you qualify in South Africa, that if you hold provisional registration with the GMC, that you are eligable for full GMC registration, this seems like a really good way of returning to practice in the UK?

Seems like the 2nd best option after not going to a UK school.

Opinions??

I'm on a gap yearm Ive just applied to UK schools (kings newcastle Peninsula and UEA) I've had an interview at peninsula amd am waiting to hear from the others.

If I don't get in I will either do anatomy with spanish at Manchester Uni, or look at the options in Europe?

Where do you think the best places in Europe are? (what do you think of Malta, Latvia and Estonia?)

Hmm, as for malta latvia and estonia, i think you will find that if you attend Hungary, Czech republic or Poland, you will hold a better degree. Thing is i thought of applying for a biomedsc or chemistry course, but if i want to do medicine, whats the point in prolonging the enevitable?

That and biomed is the worse degree you can do for graduate entry - everyone has it and it's very hard to stand out from the pack..

Was this post serious? If so, I am an agent that can guarantee you admissions to Skippers Medical University. Please fax me your transcript, letters of recommendation and a brief autobiography (a paragraph will do), and wire me $200 and I will guarantee you a seat!
