Cahsu Belize/ MUA Belize

I was wondering why one school in Belize (CAHSU) was in the Foreign Medical School Category and the other School in Belize (MUA) was in the Carribean Medical School Category on valueMD?

interesting question. CAHSU is on the main land, and mua-belize is on one of the cayes (san pedro). mua is "in the caribbean" and CAHSU is part of central america actually. it's one of those interesting situations where the call could go either way (which, by the way, may become important when distiguishing ourselves between "caribbean" or "foreign").

How on earth can CASHU be classified as Central America but MUA (in Ambergris Caye) be part of the Carribean? LOL Are for real? Ambergris Caye is part of Belize (15 min flight from Belize City, mainland) and IT is in Central America.

pretty silly, yes. san pedro, belize is in the caribbean sea, but it is still part of central america.

Does mua-b still exist. I applied and without an interview they sent me an "email of acceptance".. and they cashed my application fee. This was months ago and I still haven't heard anything from the school.

They sure do exist. I went there back in 2004. They where making a new campus on another part of the island when I left, so Dr. Renea was pretty busy.
