US Citizen who failed boards twice. Desperately need advice.
Is there anything that I can do to get back into medical school after failing the boards twice? On both occasions I came within in 1 point of the passing score. (The second exam, the passing score was increased. I came within 1 point of the new passing score.)
A few current US doctors made the suggestion that perhaps I should consider attending a foreign medical school (as a possible option (since I never failed a class)). How would I do this? Would I have to take the MCAT's over and begin a new?? Any assistance would be appreciated. |

Heres a suggestion.
Are you still enrolled at a US medschool? You should try taking the passprogram review course. Its excellent. Its mostly US students. I know a handful of students that have taken that class and improved their score considerably. i think their website is www.passprogram.net or .com. its in illinois. I was pretty impressed with some of the results people were able to obtain after taking the course so its something you may want to look into before jumping to a foreign school
