For the politically challenged... does this mean that the Federal Loan eligibility for Carribean and UAG medical schools remains at status quo?

I guess i'm a little confused, i thought the senate was trying to get rid of the grandfather clause and when i heard this bill passed last night on the senate and the house side i thought the clause was dead!!!, I have been reading info about this on US news but does anyone have a site that goes into detail about this bill passing. Thanks,

No, we are ok. What is probably confusing you is that in the past few months the bill or whatever changed a bit a few times. What I mean is the Senate or the House would pass a bill, but then then other one would pass something a little different so they had to be reconciled. I get a little confused about this, but in the end all I know is that we are ok and the bill that was passed is actually the way we wanted it to be (when it comes to the federal loans part). That is a relief. In the past few months I was like you at times. I thought we lost our loans, then I thought we were fine, then I thought we lost them again, but we really are ok now.

Anyone have a link to the current bill showing that the clause is still in there? I tried navigating that thomas site, but I'm too dumb.
