From what I have read, the rate of default for loans that were used to fund the education of US citizens outside of the US was dramatically higher than that of US citizens that were educated inside the US. There is no reason to further burden our government, the tax payers, or the Stafford loan program with this issue. There are plenty of private loans through private corporations available to US citizens that want to attend schools outside of the US.

How are you going to have a cohesive discussion, if they don't even know about it? The only reason that I know is because I check Ross forum. I have a bookmark that go straight to the Ross forum. Not all students check the main forum. Spread the news!! Do the math, you have it listed on 4 different forums, then more people would know about it. If you limit it to just the main forum, some people might not get the information.

Besides, you are against Federal Stafford Loans for the Big 3 anyway. I am not surprise by your response. I don't see what is the big deal about providing loans for students. Not all students can get private loans. Are you against it because you are jealous of the Big3? Don't be a hater.

Is that really appropriate? I would say the majority of schools here don't qualify for stafford loans, so it has nothing to do with them. It can't just be put up as a sticky with a link to this thread in it in the forums of the school it effects? I wouldn't think that would take very long at all with Mod "powers"

theres a difference between debating at a low level of understanding and triaging your arguments.
