Nail in the Coffin of Grace Medical School

posted (December 21, 2004)

The doors of the Grace School of Medicine in Belmopan have been closed for about a year, and they will stay that way. The government today announced that it has terminated its agreement with the school, mainly because they haven't honored the most fundamental clause of their contract: simply that the school failed to open.

CEO in the ministry of education Marion MacNab explained to 7NEWS that the medical accreditation council which monitors the medical schools operating in Belize, found that Grace Medical School had never really gotten off the ground in Belize, and this is after being granted a licences in 1999. Written warnings were given to the school president, and despite a follow up meeting, no settlement could be reached, and government cancelled the agreement on Friday. MacNab who chairs the medical accreditation council says the public announcement was made to ensure that it is known that Belize is distancing itself from Grace Medical School which presently operates a campus in the United Kingdom.

Think that an old country western song is more appropriate

"The Party's over"

Shock, you and I agree on one thing....the loan situation is going to quickly change the shape of Carib. medicine quickly...its about the money.

UHSA and IUHS will soon follow GRACE

Currently there are only 9 students enrolled in UHSA.

Note well and you will see that their website needs updating. They have been using the names of the same students since 2002. Many of these students have since dropped out of both the on campus and ONLINE INTERNET programs, after it was ascertained that you cant get licensed with a UHSA degree, and after their Student Government Leader himself dropped out and went to another school in late 2003.

This school is most certainly on its last legs, because with the pressure received from Azskeptic, and others on this forum , they are having it really hard getting new students.

You see prospective students are calling up their State Boards and are hearing that their state boards will not issue a license to this diploma mill.

In addition, students from this bogus school cannot get loans because of its bad reputation and poor credibility.

It is just a matter of time before UHSA joins GRACE as a duppy in THE DESEASED MED SCHOOL GRAVEYARD.

There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (or gums) if you give them your money.

And there will be rejoicing in heaven, among other places, over one more bad school that has gone to THE DESEASED MED SCHOOL GRAVEYARD.

I WILL MYSELF LOVE EVERY MOMENT OF IT.

Another school that is at UHSA’s footsteps on the way to a painful death is IUHS.

They have 4 students left and its just a matter of time before they also close. NO STUDENTS NO SCHOOL THE PLAIN ECONOMICS OF THE SITUATION WILL CLOSE THEM DOWN, and they will join GRACE.

LMAO

The good news is they won't be able to swindle any one else out of their money if they go out of business. The bad news is, some people will have lost their time, money, effort, and perhaps even their future opportunities because of such shady operations. I feel badly for them; there but for the grace of God go I.

I hate to say I told you so but, .........................

actually that's a lie. I like to say I told you so. Over the years I've had the opportunity to say it often. ( sad but true ) Looks like we'll be saying it a lot in the next year or two.
What do you say to a person that get's bitten by a dog after you plead with them not to provoke the dog? Sorry? I don't think so

STICK WITH AN ESTABLISHED SCHOOL.
............or pick another career

Rest assured, FLK, anyone who has at least lurked here for a while if not posted, understands you enjoy the misfortune of others. That shone through in damn near every post of yours.

Of course, he was kind enough to warn others of the misfortunes that would befall them should they take a certain path. Don't we all laugh at the Darwin awards?
