Just thought I'd paste this on here for those who might want to know. This is a list from http://op.nysed.gov (NYS Office of Professions website), with a list of schools that can have approved clinicals in the state.

If it only were that simple.

1) The appropriate webpage is found at http://www.op.nysed.gov/medforms.htm

2) Those programs have 2 advantages.
a) Those program grads need not submit form 2CC
b) They can participate in more than 12 weeks of clinical training in NY State.

"Form 2CC is not needed for graduates of the following medical schools, which have been approved by the New York State Education Department to allow students to complete more than 12 weeks of clinical clerkships in New York State. The schools are:"

NYS Medicine:Application Forms

Spartan Health Sciences (site) was recommended for NY approved. The site visit was conducted on December 8th of last year.

It's great to see new schools getting added to the list. Make sure to check the list frequently because some schools are in the habit of getting into some trouble occasionally.

wat about the windsor school of medicine..is that a good school to consider transferring to. im a med student of 3rd year in pakistan and i want to transfer.

ive heard a lot of negative things abt this school but regardless of all that wud it be a wise decision to attend windsor

You might be better off completing your MBBS from Pakistan before transferring to a Carribbean school. Once you complete the MBBS, you can take the USMLE steps and then do an externship program to gain some US clinical training and apply for the match.
