Ofcourse if you fullfill the minumum admission requirement. It is a good college; good education system; nice building. Compitent and experienced teachers from USA and UK.

GOOD LUCK
Amazing, 2 posts from friends of folks at St. Lucia with similiar layouts.....isn't the internet amazing? Since they don't have access to federal loans though it may be difficult for students to consider this new school. Is this the school that was originally at GUyana?

I also heard that they are having a two-for-one sale, that is, they'll give you two credits for every one Kigezi credit! Hurry while supplies last!

I am going to open a futures exchange for offshore medical schools. YOu can hedge your education, for a fee, so if the school goes down you are covered.....sort of like selling soybeans or corn ahead....odds are pretty good you'll have a crop but just in case you take some 'coverage'.

azskeptic, indeed in a skeptical mood

Loan info

Currently there is no federal loan program in the school. They are likely to get student loans by January 2005 from Med achiever. Those people were here looking at the facility etc.

STOP....fooling around with your careers

Stop fooling around with your future and start from the begining in an established school,my advise:if you still in basic sciences [less than 2 yrs in med achool] then apply to St George,AUC,or Ross and start from day one.
This sound harsh and unfair,I been in this 20 yrs and some day you will thank me,graduating from schools new and on a tight budget will get you nothing but road blocks and problems[I have never heared of the new school but I am assuming its new and not established well yet].

best wishes

I wish all the students best of luck.I also like to provide you with personal openion since I am IMG from the carribean and been thru 18 yrs of applications process in the US.It will be difficult to face state boards with 2 medical schools transcripts unless your second medical school is a good established school otherwise one school closed and the other [whatever it is/I am not suggesting anyone]new established or with few licensed physicians then you will have big problem!!!!!you have the easy short cut path and the more difficult initially but better long term.
If I was in your position I would:try to start med school somewhere in places like Italy,Spain,...then if not possible go to any school with one condition:must be approved by California[many states following CA now and this is the only state the review schools standards.most good schools provide stafford loans.I am student advocate and will hate to hear you are looking for third school to shelter you especially the federation of state med boards reviewing many schools now.
This is my personal openion that I am sharing with you and you must make the final decision.

What good med schools are in Italy and Spain? Do you have specific recommendations? What are their entrance requirements? Thanks.

....

I did not do research on Italian med schools but when I was practicing in Palm Beach 2 members in the group[US citizens rejected by US med schools]went to school in Italy[I will try to go to Florida med board site and check their profiles/public info],I think these schools are not good because one unable to pass the boards for 10 yrs.,but such schools are approved in every state in the USA and that is more important these days.

I find it interesting that you say that being able to be licensed in all 50 states is more important than being able to pass the USMLE. Could you tell me why you think that is the case?
Thanks for the information!
