What's the best way in my situation, need your advices..

Hello. I'm 16 y.o. I live in Russia. I've been to Europe a lot of times, but most of all I enjoy the UK. Their rules, laws, policies, attitude to other people, common spirit are close to me. I even feel myself better in the UK than in Russia. I have got the highest scores in my school. But I can't stay in Russia for many reasons - I see no future for me here because of the situation in our country. All in all, there are a lot of reasons, but it's the main - I want to get a medical education and find a work, as my father did, but not in Russia. I told to my parents, we decided that this September I go to school in the UK to the Sixth Form. But they don't have money to pay all the fees after school in the university. A medical education is too expensive in Europe, especially in the UK. So, guys, could you please advice me - what's the best way to do in my situation - maybe you can advice me some universities in the other countries or maybe somebody was in my shoes and knows what's the best decision. The one thing is unchanged - I can't stay and get further education in Russia. I've got the burning desire to live and to study abroad. So, please, help me if you can, I don't know what to do..

Blackmore, I know some of what your are going through, myself being from a foreign country to where i live now. My advice would be to first finish your secondary school degree in the UK preferably. By the time you finish you will have had more time to think about what it is you want to do as a profession. If by that time your mind is even more determined to study medicine then there are several options to go about covering your expenses. The way i did it was by getting a school loan from the government to pay for my nursing degree. It took me 3 years to become a licensed nurse. Then it took me another two years of a full+time + a part-time job to both pay off my loan and save enough money to cover 5 years of living expenses in a Caribbean medical school. I did my nursing degree in the US which is similar to the UK as far as academia go. It requires time and lots of sacrifices but it can be done. I hope it was of any help to you. Never give up! Cheers- Sam
