Can anyone take the plab?

Hi there, I wasn't sure which forum to post this question. I was wondering if anyone can sit for the PLAB in the UK. I am a prospective student at an Irish school's Middle East campus; would that degree qualify me to write the PLAB? Once one writes the PLAB, is getting a residency an issue?

Not anyone can sit the UK PLAB. There are conditions for eligibility.

As I have too few posts, I cannot post direct links here, but go to the GMC website (Google it) and visit the PLAB and Acceptable PMQs pages.
