you changed my life

That straight talking really helped me see the light. You have it all figured out. I wish somebody had told me it was so easy before I had signed on for AUC.

Wow.

Seriously, this is by far one of the stupidest posts I have ever seen, preppystud, is that you?

steev_poland's comments!

Whereas MCAT is crucial as an admission requirement to the US medical schools, passing this does not mean you'll be successful as a medical student...the most important thing is what you do in medical school!

There is no correlation at all between passing MCAT and being a successful doctor. Wake up and wisen up buddy !!! How about doctors in countries where MCAT is not the standardized exam? Does it mean these docs are less qualified? The world is bigger than the USA...I suggest that you join the US Navy and see the world, then your eyes would be opened! Being a doctor is not all about passing MCAT! It is irrelevant your being a successful medical doctor! I guese you'll really make arrogant and an ignorant doc! I sympathize with your ignorance!

??

Many people who do marginally well on the MCAT do very well in Med. School and on the USMLE. The MCAT does, to a certain point, predict how one will do in Med. School but is only one of MANY variables. I have met and worked with many consultants in England who never took the MCAT or went to school in the states and they are excellent. The MCAT is only ONE test.

physics

yup, all that physics on the MCAT just made all my med school subjects come together in a blinding revelatory light. my only regret going into med school... not studying physics a little more.

way to go microphage

I am going to re-study and take the MCAT every year while I am in med school just to keep up with things like Normal force and how gravity affects me when I jump up and down on the moon (assuming wind resistance to be negligeable)
