I think some of the more popular ones are: Saba, MUA, AUA. Saba is probably the most recognized, however, I heard the island is truly under developed and probably the furthest from US standards.

Some of the European schools may not require the MCAT, if you are interested in looking at that option. Good luck!

Look into St. Martinus University in Curacao. Its probably one of the more hightly developed of all the Caribbean islands - supposedly its the Amsterdam of the Caribbean, without the drugs! It has the largest desalination plant in the world, along with some of the best-rated drinking water. It has a US embassy on the island too. Strongly recommends the MCATs, but does not require.

Saba may not "require" the MCAT, but when I applied last year, they sent me a letter telling me that in order for them to consider my application, I would have to redo the MCAT. I had a 32Q, but it was several years old. It annoyed me, and was somewhat perplexing, especially coming from a school that doesn't "require" it!

Saba isn't undeveloped, perse, it's just really off the beaten track, with very little infrastructure. The big thing about the island is water (there is no water utility; most houses collect rainwater). That, and there's absolutely nothing to do on Saba except hike, dive, and Karaoke on Friday night.

As for UofOttawa and McMaster, if you're not Canadian, forget about it. And if you are Canadian, forget about it.

Why not just take the MCAT? Medicine is full of standardized tests, I would take it just to see how I stand against the rest of the pre-meds.
