It looks like for-profit med schools are popping up in the US.

Google the New Scotland International School of Medicine.

I have not been able to trace a charter for them and they claim to have one from a foreign nation, which I have checked ALL the international medical databse in IMED and zilch, nothing, squat.

That they are in California and not LCME approved doesn't bode well....their claim they are on Federal Land doesn't fly well either.....

They have some Youtube videos up that are hilarious.
