Medical School Go Figure?

Got a phone call from Meharry and they said that if i take the MCAT again in April and get over a 30 we could talk from there. my previous score is a 29 and i planned on taking it any way. but what does that mean we could talk from there. Am i in or am i wait listed/rejected? just give a little insight

It will be hard for many people here to comment on Meharry unless they have had direct experience with this school. Maybe you will be able to google a forum visited by students who go there - they would likely be a better source of advice on this question. Good luck.

Sounds like they offered you a conditional acceptance. The condition: You just need to get an MCAT score that starts with '3'. Congratulations~! I'm sure you can do it!

they said "talk", which can mean many things, so you should be prepared to hear any number of things from:

1. saying you are in
2. saying you need to do a master degree
3. saying you are not in
4. provide you admission to the following year
5. saying you must enter their special program that requires you take certain class and obtain a certain grade and then you are in
6. you are on a waiting list

so bust your rump and see what happens, but realize "talk" means alot of things!
