UHSA is a Traditional Medical Program, with a web base PBL as an Adjunct !! the web case studies are not to replace the hospital experience or the lectures in Antigua !!

The blatant advertising cheerleading and attempted infomercials by UHSA representatives on this forum speaks volumes.

Read about UHSA on this forum
http://www.network54.com/Forum/156286/

Ask yourself why is it that UHSA has not registered on this forum like ALL other offshore medical schools.

Ask yourself what it is that UHSA has to hide.

Seeing that UHSA was started in 1982, how come schools that have been established recently are better known?

ok here it is

I have no interest in this school and once thought it was a route I would take but did not and chose another caribe school,SMU. I would like to say though a good friend is finishing this july and applying for licensure soon on an east coast state , I would rather not say what state at this time to protect their interests just in case but it is true, don t ask me how but if anyone will get this license after attedning this school on the distant learning program this person WILL.

Exactly my point, the school does not need forums like network54, or valueMD to recruit students, or to be actively involved in protecting its well deserved reputation, by replying to annoymous, uneducated individuals, with plenty of time on their hands.
Anyone can post msgs on Network54, maybe newly formed school that are in competition with others ??!?! I don't know, all I know is that:

1. The program is legitimate (WHO/FAIMER Approved) unlike some schools in this forum.
2. It will help you pass the boards: UHSA 90% Pass rate
3. There are at least 500 graduates practicing worldwide.

Thank you, BTW UHSA was never really an "online program" it was a hybrid of online PBL Cases, in conjunction to live lectures, hospital attendance was a must in all cases. We had to complete at least 2500 hrs in hospital setting (ACGME Approved.)

So why are you so actively promoting the school so much on VMD recently?

exactly! this is what i said before, an earlier thread was dug up with a last post of over 2 years, just to promote UHSA. if this school is so great and has such a great rep, why no state approvals? it's been around all of this time, claims to have a 90% pass rate (uh huh) and doesn't have basic state approval like NY.

i really won't go on but there really is no need to cheerlead. i go to AUA, so what, i'm not sitting here and always throwing in how my school is great etc etc. it's great to be proud of where you go/went but there is no need to cheerlead.

Close the thread

Docplunski

I think that you should close the thread.

I can even understand students at a school that subscribe to the forum giving infomercials and engaging in cheerleading.

But schools that stop subscribing ought not to be using the forum to proselyte on the sly.

Its time for this thread to be closed!

Close the thread Sir!

Iswiltshire, the guy just swears by his school's program, yes kind of annoying, like cheerleading but it is the same way you swear by your "crusade" against IMSA or JBGDL and flood the thread with your posts over and over, basically repeating the same thing again and again. If you analyze the IMSA-JBGDL- ETC threads, most posts are yours. Now you see how it feels? This guy is just trying to present his side of the story on UHSA, cheerleading, defending it, while you present yours, bashing it. Another thing sir, why you always use the same generic accusation..."you must be a school rep or administrator". Have you ever considered that there are grads or students from this particular schol, UHSA willing to defend it? I am curious, of course, does it bother you because it does not fit your glove?

No intention to insult or anything, but I find your call for closure of the thread self serving in lieu of your own track record of flooding threads, you can't have it both ways amigo.

Max
