Medical programs for high school students??

hi...i am currently a high school senior in the united states and i need some information on medical programs for high school students...my currents gpa is 3.89....my parents are pakistani and they want me to go to King Edward Medical University in Pakistan....however, the problem is that i have no family in Pakistan, and because I was born and raised in the United States, i believe it would be hard for me to adjust there. Pakistan is my last resort....i was wondering if there are any other medical programs closer to the US, that take students directly out of high school...thanks

What US undergraduate schools have you applied/been accepted for?

Do you want to practice medicine in Pakistan or the US? Where in teh US do you want to practice?

What research have you and your family done into how a foreign-educated doctor is able to come to the US and gain licensure here?

Applying to and attending a foreign Medical School should be the FINAL step in the process after many weeks/months of research.

I hope your parents or other family members haven't already made a "donation" to the school on your behalf.

Hello, at UCNE, we do have a program where you might be admitted directly from H.S.. There is an Entrance Exam, and quite a bit of paperwork which is mostly done at our offices in the U.S.A.. The Med School is located in San Francisco in the Dominican Republic. We do recommend that you first research requirements to practice medicine in the U.S.A. We, of course will help you with that. Feel free to contact me for further inf.

however you should go to school in the US or north america if at all possible if you want to practice there some day;. just because someone will take you doesnt mean they have your best interests in mind.
