Does this mean I will be a nomad for 4 years?

I am getting ready to apply to some Caribbean schools next year. I am a little bit older, second career, married with kids. We are going to sell our home and possessions, so that I can pursue my dream to be a doctor. I understand the first 2 years will be in the Caribbean (I am going to use Ross as an example), and then the last two years are in rotations. My ultimate goal is to be licensed in California, where I am from. When the school sets up rotations, will it mean that I could be traveling from one part of the US to the other with a few weeks here for one rotation and then a few weeks there for another one? Is it far fetched to think that I can complete all rotations in one geographical area (say within a 5 mile radius)? These are the little details that have popped up in my mind and I hope some of u can answer this for me.

It depends on the school. Some schools have sites where you can do all your rotations in one spot. The ones where you can be licensed in California, Ross, SGU, and AUC have these, not sure about Saba though.
