MILIK Medical School Saint Kitts

Hello all i just wanted to let you know that, i haven't given up on this mess of a school. my process for getting this place is going slow, but i hope all my hard work is not in vain and this place and this liar and cheat will be out of a "school". last i heard about milik was not a single thing has changed since i left in march ! which is sad cause according to his website there is so posed to be a class that started this past week. but yet again NO STUDENTS and no teachers. I have tried and tried again to get in touch with the teachers that he says are on his faculty list, but NONE of them answer their emails thats i send. i just have a feeling that he just threw some names up on his site, and they dont even know they are on his schools faculty list. any one have any more ideas on what i should do ? the only new thing i have heard from st.kitts was that milik is on the island with his girlfriend( mind you he is married with 3 kids) building a resort style HOTEL !! so that could be his ulterior motive for him not caring 1 bit about the school. People like him make me sick, they how can you sleep at night knowing that your name MILIK university is associated with a dump like that. !! best of luck to all !!!

There has to be more i can do to get him unlisted and make sure he has no more students going to this place !!! any advice ? when i contact people from his faculty list what should i say in the emails im really confused on what to say how do i say " do you know a idiot is using you name on a fake faculty list for a medical school in the caribbean ?" in a nice professional manner. alot of the people on the list are respectable people at other schools, some are deans of other school that i can get in touch with by a simple phone call, but i dont know what to say ?

I have several serious questions and concerns about this medical school, including that

* the school is advertising for applications, and soliciting application fees, today, while it might well be unprepared to receive any students as a operating medical school; its website, at www.milkimed.org , refers to a campus it "will" occupy in the future, and its American and St. Kittsian mailing addresses are post office boxes; and that

* the faculty list advertised might be speculative or a mock-up, and each faculty member listed may not necessarily be committed to actually serve on the school's faculty.

Are you aware you are being advertised to prospective students as a faculty member at Milik? What is your understanding of when Milik will launch, and when are you ready to begin teaching responsibilities there consistent with those of an operating medical school?

At one point, I met Dr. M. He used to teach at Ross, for almost 15 years, anatomy. During that time, he won many teaching awards. Later he taught at AUA (until recently). I also know that he did post-graduate training in the UK, orthpedics. I know about him because at one point in time, I applied to AUA. Mind you, I am not commenting on the quality (or lack thereof) with regard to his facility on St. Kitts.

please what about windsor univeristy in st.kitts, hope its not like this or anything close to this, because exactly what that guy said is true, i confirmed from people in st.kitts......its a FRAUD. why do they give license to these carrib schools that dont offer anything.
plese is windsor okay? would i geta job after studying there? is it eays to get a us visa 4rm st.kitts?

Windsor has been around for a longer while, but it is not much better.

They have only recently got proper accomodation.

If you want to go toschool in St Kitts UMHS though new is the best place to go.

The principals of UMHS started ROSS - one of the pioneers of American offshore medical schools.

lswiltshire ,Your facts are incorrect !

Windsor has licensed grads UMHS does not, also we have a list of clinical sites and UMHS does not. We are also IMED listed and UMHS is not.

One major thing about Windsor is that it's new campus only for medical students(M.D.'s). Unlike UMHS which is shared jointly by M.D and Nursing students. Basically the UMHS campus is the old nursing school that has been partly modified for MD's.

If you want to go to school in St Kitts , though new UMHS is the best place to go. I stand by my opinion.

Dr Ross started ROSS UNIVERSITY IN DOMINICA.

DR T helped put it up there at the top of Caribean offshore schools.

Windsor is not, nor has never been or will be a top Caribean offshore school.

These are facts that cannot be condemned.

If Windsor has got clinical sites so can UMHS

If Windsor has got grads UMHS will have graduates.

The facts are that UMHS has principals with a stellar record in medical education in the Carribean and that Windsor is now shivering in its boots.

Im predicting, and hoping that UMHS will be a great light in medical education in the Carribean and that it will reduce the number of sub standard schools in the islands.

That UMHS is a big threat to Windsor is evident by the terms in recent contracts Windsor has been ofering to folk, in which would be tutors must sign that if they leave or are fired from Windsor, that they can not work in St Kitts for five years.

FYI one reciever of the contract has circulated it to the other St Kitts/Nevis schools.

I wish everyone could predict future......

By the way UHMS is not a threat to Windsor...most of the kids at Windsor come for the total cost....and all pay cash.

UHMS is more of a threat to MUA and AUA..once it gets NY approval. AUA received NY approval in 2 years , lets see if UHMS can match that.
