Transfer to a Caribbean School from a Polish School

I am currently attending Univeristy of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. I have completed the first two years of medical school. I am back home now and preparing for the Boards. I was wondering, if anyone know, will it be better for me to transfer to a caribbean school since they have more affiliations with lot more hospitals in US? What would be a good school to transfer to? if i do transfer, what school will my diploma read? Is there anyone out there that has done this sort of transfer and became successful? I would really appreciate some definite answers to these questions.

If you are a US citizen, you are better off getting US clinical experience, period.

don't know about other carib schools but SGU doesn't take transfers, so if you want to attend SGU you'll have to start all over.

OP, its cool if you get a score over 200 in step1, then see all the top 5 or 6 schools scramble for your business.Relax, get a good score,GL!

no its policy at sgu not to take transfers, especially into clinicals- there can be issues with future licensure as sgu found out years ago when they did take transfers and so now they just don't do it.

and you will have to get much more than just 200 for the top schools to "scramble" for you- there is way more demand than there is supply....

Why not call the admin office to get details of transfer policies. I would start with AUC, Saba. SGU doesn't take transfers as mentioned above and Ross is having major problems with lack of clinical spots so I would stay away from them for now. AUA and St. Matthews would be my next choices.
