doesnt this just apply to LCME accredidation...which we as IMGs aren't troubled by?

But your program will be held to some of the same standards of the LCME. If your program deviates significantly from what the LCME sets forth, you can bet a big red flag will go up. G

yes, you are correct BUT as licensure boards have held up lcme in the faces of img's usually for the purpose of denying a license, the above information can be relevant should an img applicant need to say he/she did indeed complete the same duration of training per lcme specs. Similar to what George said.
