    Problem based learning?

I recently heard about a new foreign medical university that offers a problem-based online learning environment. You go through two months of training in Samoa, then you can either stay in Samoa or go wherever you want to complete the rest of your education by working with physician mentors in your community. I've never heard of this style of learning before, is it popular?

    Does this sound legit?
