    Would it be appropriate...

to request a quick decision at my interview? I am on a highly-visible project within my company and would need to give at least four weeks notice if leaving. My interview is in March, and I would need a decision by the beginning of April. Should I ask at the interview, or wait to see if they arrive at a decision by the end of March/beginning of April?

I am only asking this now because I have all of this built up nervous energy, and feel like I am going to go nuts if I am not doing something related to med school! I searched prior posts and couldn't find anything closely related to my situation. All advice and opinions are requested - even if you tell me that I am being a little neurotic (or a lot neurotic) for worrying about it now! Thanks -

    should be okay

Inform the office of whatever schools you have applied to of your situation. A lot of applicants are just out of college, no REAL jobs, so waiting is no big big deal (but who likes waiting?). I have had good experience with 2 schools for being accommodating. Good luck!

No. What would be appropriate is to ask your interview about the time frame, explaining, without pressurizing, that your company will ask for a decision. Later you can also nicely ask a simliar question to the people at bay shore when you "check on the status of" your application. The issues is that you wont want to act pushy or entitled so make sure you dont couch your issue that way; approach from a different angle as suggeste.d god luck.
